Where new materials emerge and light gives them voice

Our research group focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of advanced functional materials for optoelectronic and energy applications. We specialize in 3D and low-dimensional lead-free and metal-free perovskites, developing them through both solution processing and mechanosynthesis. Using spectroscopy and compositional engineering, we explore their photophysical properties and how they respond to external stimuli such as light, pressure, and temperature. Our work also extends to emerging concepts like the piezo-phototronic effect and photocatalytic systems for environmental applications.
